Fordham Sponsorship Accountability Report

The Thomas B. Fordham Foundation's 2007-08 Sponsorship Accountability Report, Climbing to Quality, is now available here.  This yearly report covers Fordham's sponsorship practices throughout the year as well as newsworthy events related to our sponsored charter schools. You can also find detailed reports on all of Fordham-sponsored schools.  Each school report contains information on the school's academic performance, educational philosophy, and compliance for the 2007-08 school year.

Charter Board Governance Training 101

The Thomas B. Fordham Foundation is proud to be supporting the upcoming Charter School Board Governance Training on November 18th.  This seminar is designed for school administrators and boards of trustees. In four comprehensive sessions, participants will learn about effective school governance, school finance, school law, special education law, and state and federal accountability laws. Sessions will also dispel common misunderstandings about the requirements surrounding charter schools in Ohio.

The Thomas B. Fordham Foundation's Vice President of Ohio Programs and Policy, Terry Ryan will be participating in the Sponsor Panel Presentation.  This panel will offer a unique opportunity to gain insight into the challenges and strategies of governing a charter school from knowledgeable and experienced professionals in the field.
